If you live in the United Kingdom and go on holidays to an EU country or selected country*, you can continue to use your giffgaff SIM as usual with the same conditions as in the UK, with the following exceptions:

1) Goodybags with more than 20 GB or unlimited data are limited to a maximum of 20 GB whilst outside the UK.

2) Roaming like at home can be used for up to 63 days outside the UK within any 4-month period. Once the limit is exceeded, the standard roaming rates will apply. You will be contacted 14 days before so that you are not caught by surprise.

3) If you activate your giffgaff SIM card from outside the UK, you will need to prove that you live in the UK in order to use this service. Otherwise, Roaming like at home will only be available for the first 14 days before being switched to the standard roaming rate.

If you do not meet the Roaming like at home conditions, the following roaming rates will apply depending on the country from where you use your giffgaff SIM.

The roaming costs are deducted from your giffgaff account balance. You must have balance in your account to use this service. Goodybags will not work.

*List of selected countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, French Guiana, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guadeloupe, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Martinique, Mayotte, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
