You can activate your giffgaff SIM card online at any time from anywhere. You do not need to be in the UK.
To activate the SIM card you only need the following:
• A non-active giffgaff SIM card
• A bank card
The steps are the following:
1 ACTIVATE SIM
Click the following button to access giffgaff's secure activate page.
Activate giffgaff SIM2 ACTIVATION CODE
Enter the 6-digit code printed on your giffgaff SIM card and click "Activate your SIM".
3 REGISTER EMAIL
Enter your email and click "Next". You will receive a confirmation email with your username.
4 CREATE PASSWORD
Enter a password in order to be able to access your account later on and click "Register".
5 OFFERS
Select if you want to receive offers by email and indicate your date of birth (optional). Click "Continue" to continue.
6 SELECT PLAN
Select your preferred goodybag. You can change it every month.
** To obtain the £5 free credit, you must select the £10 goodybag or higher. **
7 PAYMENT
Enter your bank card details, your name, your surnames and your address and click "Activate your SIM".
Your bank may ask you for a password, PIN or code to confirm the payment.
8 CONFIRMATION
Your giffgaff SIM card is now active and ready to use, congratulations!
Now you can access your dashboard to find out your giffgaff number and check that everything is correct.
